The Eagles released their 2018-19 schedule this afternoon, and it features some very high-profile matchups. The highlight of the non-conference schedule will be a trip to Hawaii (Nov. 23-25) for the Rainbow Wahine Showdown, which will include a neutral site matchup with two-time national champion Stanford, which went 24-11 last year and made the Sweet 16 last year in the NCAAs, along with Florida Gulf Coast, which lost to Stanford in the NCAAs last year. AU will also play at perennial ACC power Virginia Dec. 5; the Cavaliers finished 30th nationally in RPI last season, reached the second round of the NCAAs before losing to 2016 national champion South Carolina and have hired WNBA legend Tina Thompson as their head coach this season.
OOC home games against Tulsa (Nov. 9; home opener), George Mason (Nov. 14), UMBC (Nov. 28) and Ohio University (Dec. 29). PL play starts at Bucknell Jan. 3 before hosting Colgate Jan. 6. Four of the last six regular season games at home.
