Per VC, AU has offered 2019 wing Nate Lliteras, from Seward (NE) HS. Two-star. Listed at 6-5, 190. Offers from Army, Stony Brook and Rider, with reported interest from Air Force, Kent State, Campbell, Western Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Mercer, Kennesaw State and Belmont. Pretty athletic (here www.hudl.com/video/3/4619182/5a4fbf675ef70427fc5a50fc are a bunch of dunks--which don't indicate anything having to do with basketball skill, but are still cool to look at). We offered after Lliteras had a strong showing in Atlanta on the AAU circuit.

Per VC, AU has offered 2019 PF Luke Maranka, from Grand Rapids (MI) Homeschool (you read that correctly). Listed variously at 6-9/6-10. Two star. Averaged 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds last season. Ranked high on many Top 2019 forwards lists in Michigan, including Class of 2019 third team all-state by PrepHoops Michigan. Offers from Toledo, Ball State, Kent State and Jacksonville, with reported growing interest from Wisconsin. :-( Quite athletic, but impossible to determine the quality of opponents in his conference.
Given the makeup of the roster I would think that we need to have a point guard in the pipeline in anticipation of Nelson's graduation - ideally allowing for a transition year. We have also seen how the absence of big men poses a real challenge for us so either a center or power forward would be nice even with healthy Gasperini and Alexander in the mix. Having said all of that, I think the style of play employed by Brennan allows for some level of flexibility and so the approach of getting the best athlete available is tempting. I haven't seen Boonyasith play but I wonder whether a good combo guard could play primarily point if there are scorers like Harris and Iorio on the floor with him. Personally based only upon what I've read I would love to see more of Maranka - the caliber of other schools expressing interest may be an indication this is an especially talented player. Are we done for this coming season - verbal commits indicates we have one more slot and an offer outstanding to point guard Marcus Holman, Jr. That's a long winded way of saying a) I wish the season was here already, and b) I don't have a clue as to a straight answer to your question but I'd like for us to play really well and win a bunch of games.

Very little feel based on the highlight reels. Agree with Jesus that a 2019 PG to ultimately be ready to take over for Sa'eed should be a priority--though Stacey, to me, still has an awful lot of promise as a lead guard. if he has a good offseason, we could well have our future PG in house already. And Jamir will be on the ball some too going forward, I'd imagine. Henry and Fenton both seem like pretty solid recruits to me.

completely agree that we need a pure point guard though I am very intrigued with our in house combo guards. I would like a big man and small forward with the other two. Acunzo seems like a Gilmore type guy, Lliteras is an exceptional athete but O'Boyle is be my favorite right now. He seems like a Zach Thomas type guy. Ofcourse I am no expert!
Per VC we have offered 2019 Vermont Academy Tommy O'Neill a 6'8" southpaw with some pretty nice athleticism. No weight listed but he has some size from looking at his video clips. Lots of other offers including Vermont, Columbia, UMBC and Lafayette.
We offered 6'4" 165 pound shooting guard Reed Fenton out of Pittsburgh. Dartmouth has also offered.
Looks like half the PL has now offered Fenton--Holy Cross, Lehigh and BU have offered since we did--as well as Fairfield, Marist, Bowling Green and Drexel. Also, fellow 'Burgher Jesse Reed is a fan of Fenton's, which makes him even more intriguing as a prospect:
Know it's highlights, but he looks like he's always playing up on his toes--ready to shoot, ready to drive. I like that. But if he's taking a prep year at Hargrave I'm not thrilled about our chances. Lot of sharks in those waters.

AU has offered 2019 PG Ty Caswell, from Rider (TX) HS. Two-star by VC. Reported offers from Colgate, Air Force, New Orleans, Abilene Christian and Oral Roberts. Good size at 6-6 and can shoot it. Two-time District 5 5A MVP by the Dallas Morning News. Ranked #35 in the Top 100 2019 players in Texas by texastop100.com. Averaged 14.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists as a junior. Listed as a PG but appeared to play off the ball a lot last season based on what I've seen. May have been asked to do a lot last season by his coaches, especially shooting/scoring. But when he did have the ball in transition he was looking up.
